About Us

Vena Rico Designs has been operating from our base on Long Island for thirteen years. Following a family tragedy, Vee found solace in making jewelry and repairing costume pieces for their grandparents and community elders. Since then, they've found success in creating for a world wide audience, including traveling up and down the East coast for fairs, events, and conventions. They've taught jewelry making courses and hosted jewelry parties (both making and buying) around their hometown and beyond. Vena Rico Designs started out as a way to heal, and slowly became a popular local brand using materials like crystals and semi precious metals to share that healing with the world. 

Vee is a 34 year old Aquarius free-spirit with an over active mind. They've published five books under the name Aster Vaughn, and are currently working on more when they aren't creating jewelry or traveling for fairs. They have one cat, a mini bus, and a whole lot of stories to tell through their art.
